Membership

NOTE - RENEWALS AND NEW MEMBERSHIPS FOR 25/26 WILL COMMENCE ON 1ST MAY 2025

The Membership Year runs from 16th June to 15th June. Members will not be able to fish until they have renewed their membership.

Members who do not renew their subscriptions by 31st August 2025 will be deemed to have relinquished their membership and must therefore re-apply and the standard £20 joining fee will then also apply.

Junior members are those who hold a junior Environment Agency rod licence on the date of application.

Pensioner/disabled members are those that hold a corresponding concessionary Environmental Agency rod licence

The £20 joining fee is a one off payment as long as the membership is renewed at the appropriate time.

RENEWING MEMBERS

Your membership must be renewed using Clubmate. You can do this by clicking the above Renew Online button or via the Clubmate App. Alternatively, you can attend one of the the two membership sessions held at Bellwood lake prior to the new season on Saturdays 31st May and 7th June 2025.

NEW MEMBERS – FROM 1ST MAY 2025

From 2025/26 there is no longer any rule regarding members living within 12 miles from Newbury Town Hall and thus senior membership application is open to all.

The quickest and easiest way to join is via CLUBMATE APP (www.clubmate.co.uk) or at our PRE-SEASON MEMBERSHIP DAYS MENTIONED ABOVE

Successful membership is paid for online and set up immediately albeit Clubmate will post you a venue key (operable from 16th June 2025) that may take time to arrive. NAA can accept no responsibility for the sending of keys.

Application can be made at Thatcham Angling Centre, Sagecroft Road, Thatcham but though we aim to collect and process applications promptly, it may take UP TO TWO WEEKS to process in normal circumstances. As well as cash/cheque for payment, a passport-style photo will be required as well.

Exceptionally, subject to being able to pay by on-line banking membership may be applied for by emailing a request to mail@newburyanglingassociation.crmail.co.uk We will quickly let you know if you have been successful and if so how to complete the opening process.

Payment – We accept payment by credit, debit card, cheque or cash when visiting the club membership sessions at Bellwood. Thatcham Angling will accept cheque or cash only.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS

Proof of membership on the venues will be by Clubmate app on your mobile device. Should you not have such a device, or prefer to carry a physical membership card, you have the option to purchase one at application at a cost of £5.

Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee and all members must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.

From 1st December each year half-season tickets (ie to the following June 15th) are available at a 50% discount membership fee (subject to standard £10 entry charge)
