Brief description of fishery:
The best methods are pole or,waggler fishing with light tackle and lure angling. The best baits for summer fishing on the canal include maggots, caster, worm and sweetcorn. Groundbait, loose feeding and hemp also work well and bread punch is good for winter angling. This stretch contains good specimens of perch, roach and bream. The fishing also includes the stream flowing alongside the canal, which contains barbel, chub and dace.
